I have been volunteering at SKATECHURCH for over 20 years and witnessed lives changed through skateboarding and Jesus. Skatechurch provides a safe and clean space for kids and adults to skate indoors during the rainy months and connect with other skaters. Lifelong friendships have been made and thousands of people have heard the gospel because of Skatechurch. Founders of The Bible Project, Tim Mackie and Jon Collins, spent their early college years participating in Skatechurch and growing deeper in their faith. We have witnessed many pro skaters come to faith through the consistent outreach of Skatechurch.
In an effort to bless kids and families and remove a financial obstacle that may prohibit anyone from attending, we made admission to our skatepark FREE for one whole year beginning in March of 2015. The response was outstanding, with marked growth in attendance along with an undeniable boost in the energy and enthusiasm of each skate session.
Admission to Skatechurch has remained free ever since, and our new goal is to keep Skatechurch permanently FREE! To do this we need your help in covering operating expenses and forgone admission revenue. Please DONATE NOW to help the cause!
